6, 7 e 8, em especial esse último, menos antiquado, Cambridge Economic History of the United States (CEHUS) e Cambridge Economic History of Latin America (CEHLA). A sequência de livros de E.J. Hobsbawm, The Age of Revolution, , The Age of Capital, , The Age of Empire, , Londres, Weidenfeld e Nicholson, 1962, 1975 e 1987, e The Age of Extremes. Kenwood e A.L. Lougheed (KL), Growth of the International Economy An Introductory Text, 4a. edição Londres, Routledge, 1999 e B. Eichengreen, Globalizing capital. A History of the International Monetary System, Princeton, Princeton UP, 1996, deveriam ser lidos antes do início do seminário. 1.
