SUPPLEMENTARY AND REGULATIONS VÄST RALLYT 3 th -4 th September The rally counts for: The Swedish Rally Championship (SM), The Swedish Junior Rally Championship (JSM), NEZ Rally Championship (NEZ), Volvo Original Sverigeserien, Topdriver & Ford Fiesta Sport Trophy, Mitsubishi Ralliart Evolution Challenge och MEGA Rally Cup 2010 (MRC). Västrallyt will be run in compliance with SBF (the Swedish ASN) national sporting regulations and SBF national rally championship regulations, this supplementary and regulations and futural bulletins. 1a. Description of the rally (SM & NEZ): The rally consists of app. 323 km totals with 11 stages of app. 85 km; one of the stages are driven twice. All stages are driven on gravel. Lap 1 runs on Friday, lap 2 runs on Saturday morning and lap 3 runs on Saturday afternoon Pace notes made by Gunnar Barth. 9b. Description of the rally (Volvo & MRC): The rally consists of app. 240 km totals with 7 stages of app. 67 km; none of the stages are driven twice. All stages are driven on gravel. Competitors: Competitors with a valid license may take part in the rally. The organisers have taken their right to limit the number of competitors. The total amount of competitors in Västrallyt may not exceed 200. The Elimination will be done by SBF and SRAB according to SBF national rally championship regulations The elimination will be done in the following way: 1. Entries that not are complete before: kl. 18: Competitors who not has gathered points in SM/JSM this year. 13a. Classes, starting order and seeding (SM & NEZ): According to the regulations. Starting order Friday according to the starting list. Starting order Saturday after reseeding. Restart can be made between the first and second lap according to SBF national rally championship regulations b. Classes, starting order and seeding (Volvo & MRC): According to the regulations. Starting order according to starting list. 14. Advertising: The organisers claim their right to put advertising on the cars, according to SBF regulations, RY.8.6.T. The organisers disclaims all possible paint damages after numbers and advertising. Not having the organisers advertising is possible by paying an extra fee of 5000 SEK beyond the entry fee. 15. Team Competition Team competition for NEZ competitors according to the rules of Nations cup. Team competition for MRC competitors according to the rules of MEGA Rally Cup. No team competition for SM and Volvo. 16a. Tires: Tires according to respective regulations. It's not allowed to cut in the tires. Warmers for tires aren't allowed. Warming tires on the road is also forbidden according to SBF regulations, RY T. NEZ use tires according to respective country's regulations. 16b. Service, environmental and refuelling: According to the respectively regulations. The main Service Park will be situated in by the Head Quarters in Trollhättan. The environmental rules of the Swedish ASN, G2 and RY0.2T, have to be followed (a transcription of the Swedish text is available by request). The organisers will carefully supervise this. Possible spill over and wastage will be taken care of by the competitors for transportation to the county's environmental station. Refuelling zone at the Service Park and possible remote refuelling zones according to the Road book Each competitor will be allocate an space of 36m², maximum 1 service cars per team in the Service Park. 4 16c. Timekeeping: Starting will be performed with electronic starting lights, for further information visit Jerrys motorsport at Timekeeping at finish on every stages will be performed with photocell. 16d. Reconnaissance N.B. Reconnaissance is only valid for competitors entered in SM and NEZ. Reconnaissance is only allowed one run per special stage. Speed limit on all special stages during the reconnaissance is limited to 50 kph. Between on Friday 2th July and on Saturday 4th September, it is strictly forbidden to drive, regardless way of driving, stay and/or walk over the special stages of Västrallyt, except when the stages are open as special stages or open for reconnaissance and the team are allowed to do the reconnaissance. 17. Entry regulations: The entry fee and the entry form must reach the organiser latest at at 18:00 to be accepted as a valid entry. Entry fee (only none swedish drivers): NEZ: 3000 SEK Volvo/MRC 2000 SEK Junior rally: 1000 SEK Entry after the last time: 500 SEK added on the entry fee Pace notes: Pace notes is added to the fee above: SM and NEZ: 600SEK (Allowed to do the reconnaissance) Volvo Original/MRC: 400SEK (Not allowed to do the reconnaissance) You must buy pace notes to be allowed to do the reconnaissance. The entry fee must be paid, latest according to above, to the following: Bank account: Account holder: SMK Trollhättan Mention the drivers name and car class in relation to the payment. The entry fee includes the following: - One set of road book - One official program with a map - One set of starting number - The organisers advertising, if not the higher entry fee is paid - One official plate of the rally - One Service Pac which includes one official program with a map, one service plate 5 18. Entry: You have to do your entry at and don't forget to mention if you want pace notes. In second hand by mail, on SBF:s entryform posted to Race Consulting Sommarvägen Hagfors N.B. the entry and the entry fee have to reach the organiser not later than at 18:00 Entry after the last date can be made if the number of entries is below the maximum total amount of competitors. Conformation of entry on the internet on 19. Cancelling: The organiser have the right, in cooperation with the Swedish ASN, SRAB and the Stewards, to cancel the rally if less the 50 entries have been received before the closing date, do to prohibition from the authorities, unfavourable weather conditions or other cases of force majeure. 20. Prizes: SM: according to the regulations. N.B. those who has entred both SM and NEZ will not receive any prizes in NEZ. NEZ: to the three first placed, and not being entered in SM, in each class and to the three best placed foreign drivers Volvo: according to the regulations MRC: One per 4 competitors in respective class. If any disarticulation is needed they are going to be separated according to following: In case of same final result will the one with best time on SS1, after that SS2, SS3 and so on going to receive the best placement in the competition. The result will only be distributed on the internet If there is a desire for hard copy, notify that in relation to the administrative check on. 1, 2, 3 in the SM classes prize ceremony is made on the finish ramp, remaining classes prize ceremony after the protest time is up. Prizes not collected accrue the organizers. 21. Cancellation: To Mr Claes Eklöv tel The entry fee will be repaid in the following cases: 1. If the rally does not take place 2. Entries that not are accepted by the organiser 3. If the entry is withdrawn in writing before last entries date 4. Entry withdrawn after last entry date minus an administration fee of 500 SEK. The organiser claim their right to charge the whole entry fee from an entrant who withdraw his entry after at 07:00, and the entrant have to pay the ordered pace notes irrespective of the reason for repayment. 6 22. Clearance from the Counties Agency and the Swedish ASN will be announced later. 24. Access to petrol and oil: In a couple of kilometres distance from service place. Refuelling zone on the service place, refuelling is only allowed in that zone. 25. Pause: One pause in the competition is made for SM/NEZ between Friday evening and Saturday morning. 26. Time limit for respite /Max time: Time limit for respite had been limited to maximum 15 minutes between two time controls or maximum 30 minutes for the whole competition. 27. Remaining Any hospitality arrangements, along the itinerary and/or in the vicinity of the route, taken by the teams and/or their sponsors need to have a permit given by the SMK Trollhättan For further information please call: Mr Anders Engelbrekt, English arrows are going to be used. Competitors in SM, who has entered in both SM and NEZ will be judge by points in both classes. Competitors in SM will not be judge by points in Volvo or MRC. 28. Telephone: Telephone to the secretariat during the race will be announced in a later bulletin. 29. Privacy Protection Law: Competitors and officials has through their entry in the competition approved that their personal record has been registered in the organisers data register and also that the organiser irrespective of media form can release their names within the scope of the organisers area. 30. Insurance: Auto mobile insurance is obligatory. The law of traffic damage prevails during the competition. The Collision Damage Waiver will not pertain. It s the drivers responsibility to immediately report any damages has been caused during the competition to the organisers. 7 31. Responsibility: The competitors take part on their on risk. The FIA, the Swedish ASN, the organiser or officials of the event can not be claimed as responsible for injuries on persons and/or property which accurse during the competition. N.B this is only an translation of the Swedish Supplementary regulation. In case of discrepancy the Swedish Supplementary regulation is the correct one. Welcome to Trollhättan and 8
